Craigslist Find

We've been looking for a small toy chest for Baby K, because she's gotten a lot of toys already! We couldn't find one that was reasonable, so I decided to look on craigslist and we found this perfect one for her:

37 weeks!

This week we had an growth ultrasound. I've heard that they aren't that reliable, they told us she only weighs 5 pounds, 5 ounces so far. Also, my amniotic fluid is low. They like it to be above 5 and mine is at 5.3. We have another ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow to check fluid levels, we are hoping to get a 3D at this one. We couldn't last week because the silly girl had her foot in front of her face!

How far along:
37 weeks, 4 days!

Total weight gain/loss: 31 pounds, lost a pound last appointment!
Maternity clothes? Of course!
Stretch marks? On my stomach like crazy!
Sleep: I'm tired but can't fall asleep at night, and when I do, I get up to go to the bathroom a few times, so I like my naps during the day!
Best moment this week: We got to see her on the ultrasound and get to see her tomorrow again!
Movement: She doesn't kick as much, because she's running out of room I'm sure, but when she does move it hurts! She mostly just shifts and wiggles.
Food cravings: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard
Food aversions: None
Gender: Girl!!
Labor Signs: Nothing yet, but lots of pressure.
Belly Button in or out? Innie, but really open
What I am looking forward to: Our appointment tomorrow!
Weekly Wisdom: Drink plenty of water!

Cascadian Farm Giveaway

Update:
The winner picked by random.org is:
#2-Emily N!

Do you facebook? Are you addicted to the game Farmville? I just recently started planning Farmville, and it's so addicting. I was excited to hear that Cascadian Farm®, a pioneer in the organic food industry, is blazing yet another new trail as they become the first official branded - and organic - crop to be offered in Zynga´s popular online game, FarmVille. Joining forces, Cascadian Farm and Zynga will provide an innovative gaming experience for FarmVille fans, breathing virtual life into real world organic farming within the largest online agricultural space.

Beginning July 19 through July 26, Cascadian Farm will provide FarmVille players with a variety of benefits including, coupon offers, organic farming and green living tips, as well as the opportunity to build up their farm quickly. During the week-long partnership, branded Cascadian Farm organic blueberry crops will be the most profitable FarmVille crop offered in the game, to beginner and expert FarmVille players.

To further connect with other FarmVille users, Cascadian Farm has created an avatar farmer called "Farmer Joe Cascadian," who was inspired by the brand´s real-life farmers. "Farmer Joe" will serve as the "virtual" tender to the brand´s own FarmVille farm and users can request to be his neighbor by "friend-ing" him online at www.facebook.com/farmerjoecascadian and by using the FarmVille application to become his neighbor in-game.

For more information, please visit www.cascadianfarm.com.

So what is in this post for you? Well you could be the lucky winner of a prize pack from Cascadian Farm's courtesy of My Blog Spark. You will win:

Self Healthy Food Awards

Self Magazine, came out with their healthy foods list in their July 2010 issue. Here are just some of the ones they picked and I have had and have my own opinion of!

Snack Food:
1. Herr's Whole Grain Pretzel Sticks
110 calories, 1 gram of fat per 7 sticks, these are horrible tasting at all, but for some reason when I eat these I get a headache, so I don't eat them that often.
2. Edy's Slow Churned Double Fudge Brownie
12o calories, 4 grams of fat per 1/2 cup, this ice cream is really good, and a lot of the Edy's flavors have this amount of calories in them, and are good, just look in your grocery store.

Breakfast Foods:
1. Friendship Cottage Cheese, Low fat 1%
90 calories, 1 gram of fat per 1/2 cup, this is a good cottage cheese, I can't eat cottage cheese plain though, so I'll add some fruit that I'm able to eat or some apple butter to it to flavor it up at a bit.
2. Thomas Hearty Grain 100% Whole Wheat Muffin
120 calories, 1 gram of fat per muffin, these are great tasting. Chris isn't a fan of whole wheat but he loves these.

Dinner:
1. Alexia Olive Oil , Parmesan and Garlic Oven Fries
120 calories, 3.5 grams of fat per 3 ounces, these are really flavorful and good. Pretty reasonable price as well.
2. Ronzoni Healthy Harvest Whole Wheat Blend Rotini180 calories, 2 grams of fat per 2 ounces, we only use whole wheat pasta now in our house, it's really good, but you do need to cook it a bit longer then regular pasta.

35 weeks!

Only 5 weeks left! Don't mind my pajama shorts in this picture!

From Babycenter:

Your baby doesn't have much room to maneuver now that she's over 18 inches long and tips the scales at 5 1/4 pounds(like a honeydew melon).

Because it's so snug in your womb, she isn't likely to be doing somersaults anymore, but the number of times she kicks should remain about the same. Her kidneys are fully developed now, and her liver can process some waste products. Most of her basic physical development is now complete — she'll spend the next few weeks putting on weight. Your uterus — which was entirely tucked away inside your pelvis when you conceived — now reaches up under your rib cage. If you could peek inside your womb, you'd see that there's more baby than amniotic fluid in there now. Your ballooning uterus is crowding your other internal organs, too, which is why you probably have to urinate more often and may be dealing with heartburn and other gastrointestinal distress.

How far along: 35 weeks!
Total weight gain/loss: 30 pounds so far, right on track!
Maternity clothes? That's all I can wear! I tried to fit into some regular tank tops but they don't cover that growing belly!
Stretch marks? Just on my stomach!
Sleep: I don't sleep through the night, either a leg cramp wakes me up or I have to pee! I love my afternoon naps!
Best moment this week: Her bedroom is about 90% complete!
Movement: She loves to move around and kick, mostly now in early mornings. Some of her kicks hurt!
Food cravings: Mac and Cheese
Food aversions: None
Gender: Girl!!
Labor Signs: I thought I had some last week, but she just was stuck in my rib cage!
Belly Button in or out? Innie, but really open
What I am looking forward to: Our next ultrasound!
Weekly Wisdom: Drink plenty of water!
