IT'S AUGUST!!!!!!!!!!!!!



I always loved August since my birthday is in August, but this August is super extra special and super extra exciting! Baby K, Mommy, Daddy, Puggie and everyone else can't wait to meet you!!!!!!!

Craigslist Find

We've been looking for a small toy chest for Baby K, because she's gotten a lot of toys already! We couldn't find one that was reasonable, so I decided to look on craigslist and we found this perfect one for her:

37 weeks!

This week we had an growth ultrasound. I've heard that they aren't that reliable, they told us she only weighs 5 pounds, 5 ounces so far. Also, my amniotic fluid is low. They like it to be above 5 and mine is at 5.3. We have another ultrasound scheduled for tomorrow to check fluid levels, we are hoping to get a 3D at this one. We couldn't last week because the silly girl had her foot in front of her face!

How far along: 37 weeks, 4 days!
Total weight gain/loss: 31 pounds, lost a pound last appointment!
Maternity clothes? Of course!
Stretch marks? On my stomach like crazy!
Sleep: I'm tired but can't fall asleep at night, and when I do, I get up to go to the bathroom a few times, so I like my naps during the day!
Best moment this week: We got to see her on the ultrasound and get to see her tomorrow again!
Movement: She doesn't kick as much, because she's running out of room I'm sure, but when she does move it hurts! She mostly just shifts and wiggles.
Food cravings: Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Blizzard
Food aversions: None
Gender: Girl!!
Labor Signs: Nothing yet, but lots of pressure.
Belly Button in or out? Innie, but really open
What I am looking forward to: Our appointment tomorrow!
Weekly Wisdom: Drink plenty of water!

Baby K's Nursery Reveal!

We finished Baby K's nursery this weekend, so here are some pictures.

Our bedding is from JcPenny, made by Bananafish called Love Bird, as is the mobile, the furniture is all from Kohl's, besides the rocking chair, that is from Chris's Grandmother. The wall decals were purchased from E-bay and E-tsy.The 3-D butterflies are also from E-tsy. The pictures are from Target. Baskets in changing table are from Target as well.

30 weeks

It's been SO long since I've posted an update. We have been sooo busy. Chris took this picture at the cottage over Memorial Day weekend, just shy of 30 weeks!



Baby K is about 15.7 inches long now, and she weighs almost 3 pounds like the head of a cabbage.




How far along: 30 weeks and 3 days
Total weight gain/loss: 23 pounds so far, right on track!
Maternity clothes? Love them, now that it is so hot, I love wearing dresses, they are the most comfy!
Stretch marks? Lots of new ones, cocoa butter is becoming my best friend.
Sleep: I get up a lot and it's getting a bit uncomfy, some nights I love my body pillow!
Best moment this week: Room is almost done, but I have to say all her moving makes me happy!
Movement: She likes to move mid-day and at night time. She's getting really strong in her kicks.
Food cravings: Dr. Pepper, which I never have liked, ever.
Food aversions: None
Gender: Girl!!
Labor Signs: Not yet!
Belly Button in or out? Innie, but really open
What I am looking forward to: Our 32 week appointment!
Weekly Wisdom: Stay hydrated and out of the heat! I am starting to know what people meant when they say it is way worse in the heat while being pregnant.
